No! While VetCare Digital works great for dogs and cats, we can customize and extend the software to support many different animals. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Can pet owners edit records?

No — the owner portal is read-only. Pet owners can view their pet's complete medical history, download attachments, and see upcoming vaccine due dates, but only authorized clinic staff can modify records.

How do vaccine reminders work?

When you log a vaccine, you set the next due date. Our system automatically creates a reminder when a vaccine is due within 7 days and sends notifications 2 days before. Staff can track pending, notified, completed, and cancelled statuses from a dedicated dashboard.

Can we import existing records?

We do not currently offer automated record import, but we provide comprehensive data entry services to help you migrate your existing records into the system. Our team will work with you to ensure a smooth transition.

Is data secure and who owns it?

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use role-based access controls and secure authentication. You retain full ownership of your data and can export it anytime. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

Does it work on mobile?

Absolutely! The clinic admin panel and owner portal are fully responsive and work great on phones and tablets. Your staff can update records from any device, and pet owners can check records on the go.
